"The Secrets Beyond the Shadows" - Reviews

I am giving this novel only about 3 stars for everything seeing as how the story has not been given much time to develop. The story, character, and world background have not been fully fleshed out at this moment, which is understandable at only 34 chapters. However, the stability of updates is abysmal. Not sure if this novel has been dropped or what, but it has been weeks since a new chapter has been uploaded.

What happened…!?

The blade was a shining, sharp, clearly dangerous looking weapon.

Bitter, but not the worst thing ever.

It wasn't just that my dominant arm didn't move. I couldn't even feel any sensation on that place. Feeling confused, I cast my eyes downward, setting my sight toward where that arm should have been.

Aaron: "Hmmmm so how about using this solution..."

"Xiao Qing, do you want tea?" That's a female voice. Is it a fan? And who is Xiao Qing? This is getting more confusing by the second. I don't recognise the voice or where I am but I'm scared to open my eyes.

'Herald doesn't have a clue what this is all about, its all too fast for him. But he keeps on asking so he can later on come up with an explanation.'
