A traditional Chinese courtyard estate where Xi Yu grew up. It features blue-gray bricks, dark tiles, upturned eaves, and gracefully curved corners. In the courtyard stands a large ginkgo tree so thick it would take two people to encircle it. The main hall is decorated in traditional Chinese style with rosewood furniture, calligraphy and painting screens, and a faint scent of sandalwood. The Xi family nameplate is a large black iron gate with only one character: Xi.
