Narrow, dark, and deep alleys that Xia Chu must pass through to get home. After construction, only these alleys remained instead of a main road. They are pitch black with dim streetlights and few pedestrians, mostly intimidating adult men. Xia Chu found them frightening and held onto Jiang Ran's shirt for safety.
