A village larger than Sanquan, located in the eastern part of Shuiquan Town. A hundred years ago a scholar who passed imperial examinations came from this village and built a temple, leading to the name change. A clan school was later built which caused gradual population increase. The village has a stone tablet at the entrance inscribed with Hongmiao Village Chronicle. More than ten nearby villages come here for the market, which is set up in four short streets.
