Also referred to as Gao Cairen, a newly appointed concubine granted the rank of Cairen by Yuan Mingdi. Previously an Imperial Attendant, she is newly favored and moves into the West Side Courtyard. She pretends to decline Jiang Ling's offer to move out but is secretly delighted. Her face appears pale and displeased when Jiang Ling is promoted and moves into Fanying Pavilion.
